Wanted to share an image from one of the videos I took in my most recent shoot with Sarah Brooke.

I didn't feel like dragging a large softbox with me so I used only a light and the reflector dish it came with. Gave my harsher shadows than I'm used to and over the course of the shoot I found this quite frustrating, wishing I had just bothered to bring a softbox.

But once I got home and looked at the images I found that I liked the look more and more and that if felt familiar to me. I started looking around and realized that it reminded me very much of the look of photos from Harmony Concepts that they were doing in the 90's. In the works of the people there were a strong appeal to me.

It would have been nice if the final look was intentional on my part, but as Bob Ross liked to say: "We don't make mistakes. We have happy accidents."
