I looked into it very briefly. It seems to be available only with a purchase of Half-Life: Alyx, so that made it a non-starter for me right now. Beyond that, it sounds like a lot of work has to be done to convert models from SFM 1 to 2. The best thing SFM has going for it is convenience factor, and that would be lost with 2. While I don't know too much about SFM 2's capabilities, my impression is that it wouldn't beat Blender anyway.

2020-07-20 23:00:30 +0000 UTCThese blender posters are better than any SFM one, by an order of magnitude. I'm curious, though, what the deal is with S2FM. I doubt it would be worth the effort, compared to Blender, but I am still curious. Have you had a chance to see it?
