Shippo and 2B Preview

Shippo was a commission and I started and finished 2B before the poll closed.
The embroidery on 2B's skirt was an absolute nightmare.

I use the tough resin - it has better flexibility than standard, so things break less often. It's great for durable miniatures, but it takes some getting used to. Particularly, if you under-cure it, you end up with too-flexible bits (droopy polearms, or a figure standing on one leg that slowly bends to the wide), but if you over-cure it, it turns just as brittle as standard.

2023-05-18 15:33:18 +0000 UTCUgh, I knew that was going to be a problem. The brittleness of resin really is its Achilles Heel... I'll try increasing the thickness of the wrists and handles. Maybe toy with the pose... That should help a bit.

2023-05-18 10:16:30 +0000 UTCIs there any chance you’d be able to strengthen the swords on the Kaine model? Maybe cross them in an X pattern to give them a little more support. I use a tenacious/Phrozen mix and even though it’s decently pliable they still want to snap fairly easily.
