Yeah I couldn't resist making a dumb joke for long.
So, summer has, as expected, been a chaotic time for progress on Whispers, but that's not to say none was made !
I've gotten around to map and plan then entirety of the explorable zones, done a first draft of the writing of the next update, started to work on the ingame art and advanced a lot in the reference sheets I use for the characters.
On the technical side of things, I've made good progress too. It still needs testing, but the system that will allow me to change character sprites at runtime is looking pretty much finished.
Not very usefull yet, but you can guess why I'd need to have it up and running fast ; )
Also with the explorable areas, now that the explorable zones are mapped, I can start to design a fast travel system. Yep you've read right ! The plan is that you'll unlock key areas that you can fast travel to when finding them for the first time.
