Note 1: I've been wanting to illustrate this scene for years. That being said, the comic book I illustrated was originally based on a purely Quebecois song: 'Je chante comme une casserole' by the group Les Colocs. But since this song is not really known by everyone, I opted for this one, 'Sing' by Ed Sheeran.
Note 2: For the record: My kids and I were listening to my spotify playlist in the house and when this song came on, I had fun singing it out loud to make them laugh. And BAM! I had the flash to take this song for my comic book :P
Note 3: As some of you may have noticed, there was no comic book in June. With the return from the trip and the contracts to finalize/resume, I ran out of time. Also, these days I don't always have story ideas. Inspiration is less present. I prefer to let the ideas come to me than to try to create/get them.
