Almost halfway there...through the year that is, my prep for Dragon of Icespire Peak will be completed this month, Woo Hoo! If you've been thinking about joining, now's the time! The Prep will be available to all Patrons for 1 month after release and then move to the Legend Tier, officially making it so that there's 1 fully prepped Mini-Campaign for each of the original tiers! Don't worry, Deities, I'll be prepping another Mini-Campaign while also prepping Curse of Strahd. This Mini-Campaign will range from levels 5-8 and is the perfect follow-up to The LMoP and DoIP!
I've also updated all my posts, standardizing the format so that there aren't multiple links to the same documents. Now, each post will just have The AAA Collection, which will contain all my prep, including my DM Notes, Visually Impaired versions, Indexed versions, and all the other resources I typically include! It's my hope this will make things less confusing when attempting to download the files, as well as making it clear that it can take up to 24 hours to receive access due to time zone differences, computer access, etc.! Now onto the releases for last month!
Releases for last month:
Dragon of Icespire Peak (Side Quest 3 Tower of Storms) - Perched atop a jagged sea-blasted cliff, the Tower of Storms looms, its green beacon pulsing like a heartbeat, drawing ships to ruin. Harpies circle its heights while drowned secrets stir beneath the tide. Within its storm-ravaged halls, a half-orc priest of Talos conducts a ritual to summon divine fury, his heart torn from his chest and suspended in the lighthouse itself. Only those brave enough to face the wrath of storm and sea can end the curse that darkens these shores.
Dragon of Icespire Peak (Part 5 Icespire Hold) Pt.1 - Have your players finally decided to venture into Icespire Hold? Are they fed up with the damage and destruction Cryovain is causing? Well, they'll first have to survive the journey through the mountains, face the Stone-Cold Reavers, and search Icespire Hold to find him. Should they be successful, riches beyond their wildest dreams await...should they fall, so too shall all of Phandalin...
Prep that has been updated for the Visually Impaired:
Dragons of Icespire Peak (Part 2b Dwarven Excavation) - So, your Adventurers are a bit shaken up after encountering a Manticore? Why not keep things simple and get a bit of gold for warning some miners about the Dragon? Alas, things never go as planned, because once your players arrive at the excavation site, they'll be enticed with magic items to explore and clear out a long-forgotten temple. Will they choose to do their mission and nothing more, or will they venture forth? If so, what perils could await inside?
The Egg of Estyr - Set in the same town as the original, your players will once again meet with Quentin Happyjoy, who is getting into the confectionery business. Apparently, there's a lot of money in fat kids, especially when your toffee is 80% nicotine. He wants your players to cripple his competitors, House Estyr, makers of the world-famous "Chocolate Ovoids", by staging a heist on their heavily secured and fortified bank.
White Plume Mountain (Part 1) - Three magical weapons have been stolen recently. Clues in the form of a poem lead those in power to believe the weapons have been brought to a volcano, which was once the hideout of a powerful wizard named Keraptis. These are no mere magical weapons, but sentient artifacts. Can your players survive the perils of White Plume Mountain and retrieve them!?
The Lost Mine of Phandelver (Part 3a Reign of Iron) - This is the first of many twists we've all been waiting for. The base version of the Lost Mines of Phandelver is fun but lacks in a few departments. One of which is The Big Bads: Volrak, The Green Dragon, and The Black Spider. Thanks to this amazing One-Shot, courtesy of Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting, I've been able to seamlessly merge in a compelling narrative. The Black Spider and Volrak are no longer separate entities, but they're merged into one. The Lost Mine was in fact the lair of Volrak, who stole it from the Dragon you'll meet in this Adventure (Only to have it lost once he became fat and lazy). What Dragon wouldn't want access to a forge to create magical items?
