Just barely surviving the siege, your players make their way to the church of Barovia in order to bury the recently deceased burgomaster. Once there, they quickly find that Father Donavich is no longer able to call upon the gifts of the Morning Lord in order to perform the holy rites that would sanctify Kolyan’s remains. In order to recover his power, he asks them to end the life of Doru, his son, who has turned into a Vampire spawn.
It will be up to your players to descend into the crypt and either end Doru's life or perhaps give him the opportunity to regain control once again!
