Your players have finally arrived in Vallaki, only to see dozens upon dozens of refugees littering the gates, barred from entry. Their entry, however, is swift, should they have the coin that is. Once inside, they're able to take in the town, larger than Barovia, but just as dreary. Inevitably, deciding to visit the Blue Water Inn, they find an interesting crowd, friendly waitstaff, and a curiously eccentric man weaving tales to the tavern patrons. Who they speak to and what information they gather will be up to them, but this will be their first step into something much larger...
