De retour! Et des news bien sur

FR- Et oui, me voici de retour à mon bureau, car c,est bien beau les vacances, mais si je veux en avoir je me dois de travailler! (même si j'aurais aimé encore avoir une semaine, juste pour me reposer...)

Si vous avez suivi mes aventures sur instagram, vous avez pu y voir de nombreuses photos et videos de ce voyage en Italie que j'ai fais avec ma sœur cadette (et une de mes sœurs ainée, son mari et ma nièce pendant les 6 premiers jours).

EN-  Yes, I'm back at my desk, because vacations are all very well, but if I want to have any, I have to work! (even if I would have liked to have another week, just to rest...).

If you've been following my adventures on instagram, you've seen lots of photos and videos of the trip to Italy I took with my younger sister (and one of my older sisters, her husband and my niece for the first 6 days).

FR- Milan, Spézia/Cinque Terre, Florence et Rome. On en a vu des choses! J'en ai marché un bon coup aussi. Ça été un très beau voyage, malgré quelques pépins (comme dans tout voyage). J'ai pu prendre des photos qui me serviront de base pour des illustrations que je souhaitais faire depuis des mois avec mes personnages. J'ai hâte de les créer!

EN- Milan, Spézia/Cinque Terre, Florence and Rome. We saw a lot! I walked a lot too. It was a great trip, despite a few glitches (as with any trip). I was able to take some photos that will serve as a basis for the illustrations I've been wanting to do with my characters for months. I can't wait to create them!

FR- Je me mets tranquillement à jour dans mes courriels de travail, dans mes projets, mes créations

Ce mois-ci, je souhaite poster:

• La seconde partie de la BD générale Insomnie

• La seconde partie de la BD spicy Weekend

• Une planche encrée de La rencontre

• J'ai 2-3 fanarts que je souhaite finaliser

• 2 illustrations romantiques et/ou spicy

Je dois admettre aussi que je vis un dilemme présentement. Plusieurs artistes sur internet, dont des collègues de travail, on éprouve un malaise avec la tournure que prend META avec l'AI. Ce que l'on poste sur instagram/facebook par exemple se retrouve automatiquement repris par META pour alimenter leur AI. Nous sommes plusieurs à soit boycotter certains réseaux sociaux ou à tenter de trouver des façons de publier sans que META puisse prendre nos illustrations.

Mais malheureusement, c'est une cercle vicieux. Si je ne poste pas mes illustrations, personne ne peut me voir. Si personne ne me voit, personne ne peut me connaître et donc, je me perds dans la masse. D'autant plus que les algorythmes de fou d'instagram et facebook font qu'à peine 3% des gens voient mes posts. Je suis une travailleuse autonome. Si personne ne voit mon art, je ne peux pas avoir de nouveaux contrats, ni me faire connaitre! Je dois donc continuer de poster même si pour cela, j'alimente META et son AI que je déteste au plus au point.

Je perds énormément de followers, de patreons, de vues dû à un siphon de problèmes et d’algorithmes, Et je n'ai pas envie de me mettre à créer que du fanart pour espérer être plus vu/supporté sur Patreon. Je veux rester moi-même et faire ce qui me plait, car en bout de ligne c'est ce qui alimente aussi ma passion créative.

Alors je me répète, mais si vous aimez mon art, pensez à le partager sur vos réseaux sociaux, à commenter mes œuvres, à les liker... N'hésitez pas à vous inscrire à mon Patreon (même gratuitement) et si vous avez un peu de sous de trop, même 1$ par mois est encourageant pour moi :)

EN- I'm slowly updating my work emails, my projects and my creations.

This month, I'd like to post:

• The second part of the general Insomnia comic strip

• I have 2-3 fanarts I'd like to finalize

• 2 romantic and/or spicy illustrations

I also have to admit that I'm in a bit of a dilemma at the moment. A number of artists on the Internet, including colleagues at work, are feeling uneasy about the way META is going with AI. What we post on instagram/facebook, for example, is automatically picked up by META to feed their AI. Many of us are either boycotting certain social networks or trying to find ways of publishing without META being able to take our illustrations.

But unfortunately, it's a vicious circle. If I don't post my illustrations, no one can see me. If no one sees me, no one can know me, so I get lost in the crowd. Especially since the crazy algorithms of instagram and facebook mean that barely 3% of people see my posts. I'm an independent worker. If no one sees my art, I can't get new contracts, and I can't make myself known! So I have to keep posting, even if it means feeding META and its AI, which I hate to death.

I'm losing a huge number of followers, patreons and views due to a syphon of problems and algorithms, and I don't want to start creating nothing but fanart in the hope of being seen/supported on Patreon. I want to stay myself and do what I like, because in the end that's what fuels my creative passion.
