Metamorphosis
Added 2023-03-12 19:47:55 +0000 UTC'Metamorphosis' is an abstract depiction of my personal process & transformation from roughly 2018 - 2021. Connor (on the left side of the cover photo) embodies the beauty and dark romantic nature of my inner masculine, the oddness, eclectic, raw nature of my soul stepping into humanness, discovering the possibility of rewriting my story of who I have thought myself to be. Beginning the journey in a shadowic cocoon of the mind, pressing the edges of emotional, mental, physical pain, erupting from the heart into a butterfly, representing the core vision, wisdom, freedom & darkness of many lifetimes emerging now. Sarah (on the right side of the cover photo) embodies my inner feminine River of Truth that flows through me as I surrender. The color, beauty, and innocence of my primal nature, the godliness of my womanhood. The hummingbird moon on her wombspace is symbolic of the grief & depth that is gifted to us through love. The bird is in flight upward, towards the heartspace, reflecting our rising in joy & creative power as we face our shadow & choose to let love open our hearts.
I feel emotional witnessing these photos now, and remembering the time and space in which they were cocreated 2 years ago. I feel so grateful to know these beautiful beings & to see myself through them.
These photos today depict to me the timeless artistry of weaving all aspects of Self through love, compassion, & unity. Unity of Self through surrender to each other. This level of Self devotion is the most potent alchemy.
