Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest edition of Jessika's Diary. March has come upon us rather fast, but we are continuing to build on the work that did for the last release. Today I am going to be talking a little about what we have been doing, as well as what we have planned for the near future.
In terms of the current version, Jr. X has eliminated pretty much all of the bugs now, and is working on improving stability. As of the last version, I did not come across any bugs, and, fingers crossed, it seems the random softlock issues have also been completely solved. There are a few known issues we are still working on (such as post animation pauses, and screen tear), but we have made improvements and will no doubt have them sorted soon.
In the meantime, Sommy has been busy working on a bunch of stuff on the art side. One thing, as you can see in the header image, is the motion comic which will serve as the introduction to the game. This is quite a large task, and will take a few months before we can integrate (what is below is only the first part, not the entire thing). He has storyboarded the entire thing, and is in the process of tightening it up, as you can see below (click here to see full size).

He's also been busy working to replace the current placeholders when we added the shop as a dungeon random room in the last version. He's now finished the final icons, as well as the sprites for the shopkeeper and his pack-mule.


And lastly, he's also working on the pink mist effect needed for the lust trap rooms, so you will be seeing that in-game in the near future as well.
In terms of new functions, Jr. X's next task is to work on overhauling the blacksmithing function as a resource-based upgrade system as talked about in previous versions. Once that is complete, we'll be moving on to implementing a relationship system for each major NPC, which will eventually allow you to open up special dialogue, quests, and sex scenes.
