More of Faye sneak peek !
Added 2025-04-20 14:07:33 +0000 UTCHi, as I've just finished all of the art for the next update (save if the writing demands some more Faye sprites but eeeh, close enough), now's a great time to show more of Faye, the ambassador of the Sirens !
The previous sneak peek, now with shading ! And a sprite for when she's trying to be sublty seductive..
It took me forever to figure her out, so I thought it'd be interesting to also post a sketchbook page, namely the one where I finally got her right. Most of the designs have been laid out on paper before refining them as digital drawings.

Well she sure isn't the Siren ambassador for nothing ~ Oh, that design is more inspired by jellyfishes or similar lifeforms. One of the dominant ideas of her design was this sort of soft, "floaty" grace. Many of her first iterations where made along this idea until I turned to seal slugs and eventually got to the eye thing, which tied the whole thing together.

Cause they look damn good and give her an even more elegant vibe. Very nice colour palette in general, too. That other design for her head was also curious. She kinda looked like a Clicker there, but I guess that formation was more akin to a coral than to a fungus?
