"Grovel, human!" Power from Chainsaw Man, the second place winner of the January Fanart Poll, finished just in time for it to still be January.

As you can see, I'm still on my gratuitous back/rim lighting kick. To be fair, it's a cool look.

I drew the first half of this earlier this week on my Twitch stream right before I had to travel somewhere for a family thing, and when I got there I realized I forgot my Apple Pencil, and I couldn't work on it again til I got back home yesterday. Anyway, it's done now!

I think I'm getting the hang of the painting thing bit by bit, and I have some ideas about how to make it easier on myself for the next one. Unsure if it's gonna be in the same theme as the others, because I don't want to become the "guy who only draws portraits of mean looking anime girls with gratuitous back/rim lighting" and it's nice to have some variety. By the way, the liquify tool is a life changer for small adjustments that would have taken a stupid long time with pixelart, and I'm so happy Procreate comes with one. Not to mention the noise and chromatic aberration effects, which are basically mandatory at this point.

I couldn't really decide between the cooler or warmer coloring, so I'm just posting both here. I posted the warmer one on Twitter and the cooler one on Instagram. The "official" ones I posted on Pixiv and Newgrounds are the warmer version.
