Another Friday, another Rambles.

Blythe Plushie campaign finally ended today. Final sales: 494, which is a very respectable sales count, and gets me over the 400 needed to get a better cut of the sales. I think the ridiculous success of the Skye plushie spoiled me and also burdened me with a lot of high expectations for the followup. But anyway, after the first couple days I was doubting that it would hit 400, but my fans came through!

Honestly the Blythe plushies was a bit harder to market, because people like Skye way more as a character, and I think people are generally more plushied out at this point. I couldn't think of a good comic storyline either because Blythe is the evil boss, not the relatable low-level grunt. As well as the other stuff, like me going on a trip into the mountains in the middle of the campaign, the economy's bad, the plushie was 2 dollars more expensive than before, etc etc.

Anyway, now that that nightmare is over and I'm never thinking about plushies ever again, I can finally work on stuff I want to. I think my next pic is going to be another Tiger-chan or a Whiskey. :) As always, I'll be posting any cool wips I manage to cobble together here, through your exclusive window to hcnone behind the scenes content. haha. hoho.

I was on a trip to a national park in the north of California for 4 days this week. It was pretty great. Being in nature without internet was awesome. The instant I came back home I started having racing thoughts and heartburn again. Coincidence? I don't think so. Maybe I should just have designated days without internet just to take a break from being down and out about all the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world.

I will be going on another weeklong trip to see family next week. Glad I won't have a plushie campaign to get distracted by! :)

This weekend I'm watching the final episodes of Obi-Wan and Stranger Things S4 Part 1. idk why I'm even writing that stuff here considering my reviews are gonna be like "It was ok" or "i enjoyed it"
