Friday Rambles 9/16/2022

This week I worked exclusively on my new zine idea and it's probably going to be ready to publish on Monday or so. I'm excited about it and I'm going in with the expectation that it's super niche so even if like, 2 people enjoy it and look forward to future issues, I'll be happy. Even so, I'm also hoping that having a monthly thing I need to deliver on will be good for structuring my work and developing my illustrating and comicking and storytelling and writing muscles, without having to worry about making each comic self contained and relatable for social media. A few zines and I'll have enough comics for a real book!
I should probably just post the zine comics I've finished here, since the Patreon's for super exclusive content and whatever anyway. I'll put them in my Patreon® Lenses™ after I post this.
I've worked out in some capacity every day this week, which was a conscious effort. I feel pretty good! I also ate a burger.
Stuff I consumed this week:
- Barry: Entertaining show. I'm almost finished with the second season.
- Phoenix Wright Trilogy: Yes I'm still playing this. I play it in bed and immediately fall asleep so it's taking a while lol. Still a very good game.
- Cyberpunk Edgerunners fanart on my twitter timeline: Okay I'll watch it I guess
- Wendy's Dave's Double: I hadn't gone to Wendy's in like 3 years. The combo cost like 15 bucks. What the heck? I'm only going to In-N-Out from now on.
Re: shows, I don't know why it's so hard to start a new show for me. I always just rewatch stuff I already watched. Probably because I'm afraid of the unknown or some deep psychological thing.
