Drawing the short straw for the group, Darrel walked into the staging area right outside the bear exhibit. Right past the gate, he could see the fearsome beasts currently gnawing on hunks of meat. Telling himself that it was all for the sake of preserving the species, he hit himself with the gene splicer and entered the exhibit.
Moments after stepping onto the false rocks, Darrell nearly lost his balance as he developed a large gut. As the rest of his body grew out to match the bulge, a thick pelt of brown fur spread across his body. Unable to keep himself standing, he got down on all fours to let his clawed paws scrape against the ground. Flicking his rounded ears, he let out a growl from his muzzle to signal his full transformation into a bear.
Awkwardly stumbling forward, Darrel kept his eyes glancing back and forth. As he suspected, his arrival drew the bears’ attention away from their meal. Reaching the center of the enclosure, he allowed them to sniff him. Raising up his nubby tail to show off his newly formed womanhood, he prepared himself for what was to come during the bear’s mating season.
