Disney now owned both versions of Quicksilver/Pietro when this show was made. They bought 20th Century Fox in a merger deal in 2019.

This episode nearly broke the internet. You should see some other channel reactions from this episode.

I'm pretty sure it's the last 3 eps, 7, 8, & 9.

I'm glad you watched the X-Men movies before this. A lot of the viewers had not seen them when they watched this, so the Pietro entrance registered nothing for them. Those of us who had seen them were like, "WHAT???"

One comic Easter Egg in this episode was Sparky. There was a comic of Vision where he created his own family and tried to live in the suburbs. It did not go well. I never read it myself, but heard about it and the synthezoid dog he created was called Sparky. He also made a wife and kid (I think only one), but this show seems to have some themes from that comic. Like it's seemingly this idyllic suburban family and set up, but then starts to get dark and sad. I don't remember the details of how it went bad but I think the kid might've done something destructive (or the wife) and everyone turns against them? I don't know what happens, so I should buy it and read it. It was called "The Visions," I think. It's actually a more recent comic (maybe within the last 5 years? Definitely within the last 10 years). The MCU was already in motion when it came out.

God, I love this show. Jac Schaeffer is SUCH a genius. Everything is made better just by having her input.

Lagos was a reference to the opening of Civil War when Wanda tried to get the bomb away from Captain America but accidentally blew a hole in the building. "Lagos brand, for when you make messes that you don't mean to"

I love this episode in particular being a tribute to Full House since Elizabeth Olsen is MK and Ashley's sister. It's like if Danny and Becky got together and Kimmy was actually competent
