Newsletter, November 2018

Hi my dear patron!

Here's the rundown on our future videos!

We're going to go into a little bit of an overdrive, releasing 5 videos in the next 6 or so weeks.

On 30th of November we're releasing Turkey vs Saudi Arabia. It's a standard kind of video for us, asking what'd happen if the countries in between the two allowed a corridor for the belligerents to fight through. Both countries have been mentioned a lot in the media recently so it's sort of a up to date topic. And it's also a classical  conflict of high tech weaponry versus big numbers.

The we'll do three more videos, hopefully week after a week. Starting with the community poll winner "Azerbaijan vs Armenia". It's an unlikely winner, to be sure, but with fairly low numbers of people participating in the polls on our website it's reasonable that the
votes there may not represent overall popularity of topics. So even smaller countries can get voted for, which is certainly nice.  That video is yet to be made but we can already tell you it's a pretty interesting furball, with geography and political border lines providing for quite a bit of struggle on the battlefield.

Then we're hoping to do another of our historical battles animated videos. This time we picked The Battles of Saratoga, the famous US War of independence battles. Usually historical battles aren't as popular as ones from 20th century, but we'll see how this goes.

Then, just before Christmas we hope to release China invades Taiwan. It's one of those topics that is always popular and sought after. We'll see  if we can do justice to such a complex military operation.

Is there anything else to report, you ask? Well, we're doing our best to finally get on track to release three videos per month. And we don't mean simple comparison videos or newsflash videos. Though we will still be making those occasionally. We're actually toying with the idea of doing simpler military comparison videos with pairs of countries that we had done in the past. Maybe those will grow into some sort of reboot of our Arena War idea, of which we sadly did just one video back when we started our channel. It'd allow us to pit any two countries in the world and compare their militaries, and not be constrained with geography. Sure, it's not realistic, but not all videos have to be.

We're still having issues with YouTube demonetization, sadly. Pretty much all our videos still get demonetized the moment they go public. And sometimes it takes a day to get monetization back, during which time the views often plummet and never really recover. So we're struggling with some issues and we're definitely looking into ways of making different sort of videos alongside our regular genre. When we decide on the course of future action, you'll be the first to know. :)

Salutations!
