This Friday we're publishing Battle of the Java Sea. Animated account of the famous WW2 battle, where cruisers and Japanese Long Lance torpedoes played an important role.
It will also be the last of our pure historical videos for some time. That's not to say we won't
ever revisit them but for the time being, we will be concentrating more on more modern time and modern weapons. We do have another semi-WW2 topic already in prep,
but more about that later.
A week after that we hope to publish the winner of our Patreon poll, F-22 vs Eurofighter.
It's shaping up to be a big, 15 minute video. Comparing various aspects of the two planes.
From pricetags, availability, to weapons, sensors, agility and overall lethality in both air to
air and air to ground domains. Should be interesting for anyone who likes modern fighter jets. :)
From then on we're switching to a temporary slow down in release schedule, over the summer. A new video every two weeks, until August or perhaps even September.
None of this is set in stone, of course, but that's our best guess for now.
In early June that semi-WW2 video will get published. Why semi? Because it's gonna explore how would a modern Leopard 2 tank do versus 10 Tiger tanks of WW2. Basically, it's going to be a story of tank evolution and in what ways today's tanks trump the tanks of olden days. But you'll still get a result of just how many Tigers would suffer, and in what situation, if a Leo 2 crossed their path.
Oh, and since we said we'd concentrate more on modern times and weapons, maybe it's fitting we mention that popular culture videos, such as the Game of Thrones one we did recently, will also not be a part of our release schedule for some time. Maybe we'll do another one in a year's time, or we won't. But just to assure you, as some of our community did not react well to it, those will not be a part of our regular release cycle.
