(Behind the scenes/ What really happened: )
There was miscommunication between me and my editor. Due to delays, I was expecting to return by mid-July but he arranged that I launch by the end of June since that's what I initially said.
I only found out that I was set to return on the 23rd when I saw the Webtoon ad promo for the fast pass in Webtoon. It was awkward lol.
I've talked things out with my editor and we've decided that we'd communicate more in the future.
I do not mind launching earlier as expected. The only drawback here is that I don't have much buffers yet and that will pressure me more in meeting each deadline.
Oh well. Wish me the best of luck this season!

2021-06-22 05:42:29 +0000 UTCJust a thought, mostly because I don’t think it’s fair that you be forced into starting before you are ready to, due to the amount of stress and work load this comic puts on you to do when you are working under such demanding deadlines. But, would it be possible to do a “Limited Time Early Release” to cover for Webcomics’ and your Editor jumping the gun with the advertising (or whatever it was) for the release of Season 3 of your comic, before taking another small break in order to finish your lead in work? Or maybe bringing in a friend or two to help you out with some of your everyday life things so you can focus more on drawing and writing for a few more weeks so you can finish your lead work. No matter what happens please don’t forget to take the time to take care of your physical and mental well-being first and foremost. Your deadlines are not that important compared to your health and well-being. No matter what your editors and the advertisers might say, we will still be around waiting for you no matter how long of a break you might take so don’t worry about losing us! Please take care and be safe!
