Hope you're doing well - just wrapped this one up(I think)! I learned a ton working on this one, I'll have a step by step soon - here's the final with some detail shots.

I'll try and remember to post a screen shot of my settings for a FAQ - but I use sketching chrome 2 large w/o color jitter and the minimum brush size 1 pixel
