Hey!
Hope you're well! Thank you for your patience with this! I've recorded over 4 hours of the process since the last video, I'll have part 2 up tomorrow, but in the meantime here's the current work in progress. I'm in the final stretch with the painting, all the hard stuff is done(drawing, wash, underpainting), now all I need to do is blend and render everything out like I did with the face so far. I generally will black out the background so that I can make it easier on myself rendering values(light to dark) - I have quite a bit of an issue focusing as well if I can see the entirety of the image all at once, but I'm sure that's just my own thing!
Attached to this post is the current PSD file with the layers intact. On this PSD I've flattened the underpainting layers that you'll see in the video so that I could start painting overtop the whole thing in Clip Studio. I was just hoping to give you a bit of an insight into how I'm working through the process!
Looking forward to posting up the video when it's all rendered and ready. Thanks as always for your support! This should be done in another work day if all goes well.
