Drawing Wolverine - YouTube(may take some time for HD) - Download(HD right now)
Hey!
Here's the latest in the Drawing series, this one is of the Wolverine bust I posted up yesterday. In this video we touch on a similar approach to the Drawing Beast video but with an emphasis on rendering using an inking approach. What you'll see through this process is more or less how I render images like the ones below in this post. I'm using a mix of the pencil brush as well as the noise/dot brush(both attached to this post), the noise adds a great way to show detail without really detailing everything by hand, it's a nice illusion. You should give drawing and rendering with these a shot, both of which are in Clip Studio(this entire video takes place in Clip btw!).
Here's some examples of the approach I used for Wolverine applied to other characters -

All of the examples above were rendered very similarly to the Wolverine piece, some just take a bit longer than others but the techniques are the same.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding anything from the video or how I ink my work in general below.
Thanks as always for your support!
