How I Painted - Morrigan - Full PDF Breakdown

Hey!

Hope you're having a good month so far! I wanted to share the current approach I'm using for the Morrigan & Goku paintings - both follow this breakdown. I'm trying to keep my process pretty simple and streamlined so that I can depend on each step working and building off of one another. This is where I am at the moment with it, I'm sure things will continue to evolve, but I'm happy with this piece as it was a nice experiment in finding what level of finish I could get to with this style and the brushes I'm currently using from Justin Gerard.

I hope that this is helpful to you!

Thanks for making all this possible, I hope I am making this patreon worthwhile, I know the holidays can be tough, especially during this year, so I greatly appreciate you sticking with me and supporting my efforts.

Dave

Hey Dave, happy holidays! Quick question, Did you like Justin's brushes, would you recommend them?

Appreciate the break down Dave! Question - When you begin rendering with a normal layer above your lines. are your lines also separated and group with each different color mask? or Is your lines just the entire lineart hovering over each mask? Thanks

Alfred Manzano
