Deku - high res, PSD w/layers + Personal piece WIP

Hope you're well! Here's a portrait from today - Deku of My Hero Academia - I've had a little time while trying to put my kid to sleep where I've been able to watch a few episodes, I think it's pretty great so far so I wanted to see if I could do a semi-real version of Deku. You can download the PSD attached if you want to see how I went about working through this one - most all of the painting was done with a soft round brush, you'll likely be able to tell from the high res!
Also, I started work on a personal piece, it's a type of military/surreal/MGS style image. I always loved how weird Metal Gear's imagery could be, especially the villains, also - I've always been into Noriyoshi Ohrai's military type paintings. So, all that being said, I figured I'd do one for myself! This one's a pretty loose thumbnail just to give an idea of composition so I have something to work off of.
I plan on starting another larger fan art type piece, I'm just trying to collect my soul back from letting it all escape me during the Super Metroid process haha. I'm thinking something either Chrono Trigger related or maybe Dark Souls, still working it out in my mind!

This is just too freakin dope! Your approach to anime hair is so sculptural and makes them look extremely volumetric I'm sitting here taking notes bc honestly this is some thicc-ass goals. Can't wait to see the personal piece too, the concept looks awesome af though I have a strong pilot gear bias so I might be a little over-eager here๐
