Man, that golden era of Argentinian comic book artists/writers (Oesterheld, and Zaffino) makes me sad for what we've lost but proud for what came from here.... Breccia was Uruguayan, so close to home as well. Thank you for bringing forward such great works! Edit: Juan Giménez is also Argentinian. This is ridiculous.

The man is very short but his confidence and unapologetic nature overshadowed everyone else in the room. He flat out told us to give up art school and get out there with our portfolios and completely ignore what our tutors taught us, saying that they were “on their way out while you are on your way in”. He then went on a rant about Hollywood being full of crooks and how fairies were real. Best lecture I ever had.
