Elden Ring - work in progress + comp ideas

Hope you're well! Here is something I've been working on, a pen & ink style Elden Ring poster - still not totally sure on the composition but this is where I'm currently at with it - if any of the comps stand out to you, let me know! The previous post is also a process stream for this piece if you'd like to check that out and watch me draw in real time.
Of course, you'll have access to the discounted print once it's completed, same as all the other pieces.
Hope you like it so far, this has been pretty enjoyable so far, inking is very relaxing for me so it's a nice break!

As much as I like the boss lineup, I personally prefer the one with the Erdtree in the bg.

2022-04-04 05:24:21 +0000 UTCAlthough I agree with Brendanβs comments on minimal matching mood of the game - I like the idea of a NES era cartridge sticker or box art that does this sort of dynamic perspective to draw a player in. Either way - Iβm stoked youβre already on some ER art. Gonna need to fire the printer back up - been awhile!

2022-03-08 17:03:10 +0000 UTCI think the more minimal compositions are stronger than a boss-line up type thing, and feel more like the game itself. There's a lonely, detached and mysterious quality to Elden Ring and you really don't have a good grasp of the foes you will face or the depths of the challenges in your future you as you play the game. The one with the Erdtree feels the most "like the game" since you are often turning to look up at that massive tree on the horizon and contemplating what your journey to it may bring.
