Frank and Kyle go to College Part 01

Prologue

“Dad! Will you calm down!” Patrick shouted. “For fucks sake! You’re going to get us in an accident before we even get there.”

Still Don couldn’t stop shaking. His hands just wouldn’t calm down as he was driving his son to college. It was such a different experience and he was afraid of what might happen. Or what it meant to have a son actually in college. The years seemed to have caught up to him.

“Dad!” Patrick shouted again as he swerved a bit too close to a truck. Once the panic was over he returned to his more dismissive state. “Do you want me to drive?”

“No. No. I’ve got it,” Don said. He knew he was overreacting. He knew it was frustrating. But he couldn’t stop. “We’re almost there. It’s just a little bit longer.”

“Just don’t embarrass me when we get there,” Patrick crossed his arms over his chest and slid down into the seat. He obviously wasn’t pleased to be in the car with him. Don barely knew where they started to really change. Even though he wasn’t into all the same things as him, he still tried to be there for him.

Somehow, despite all of Don’s more dorky nature, his son had taken to sports. A teacher in middle school had asked him to join a team and he said yes. Don was always a bit worried, knowing that he didn’t know much about sports but seeing his son try and excel at them did bring a smile to his face. Though the people he hung around with were a bit less than desirable.

He tried his best not to get too much into his son’s business, but he didn’t like how negative and mean they could be. Most of Patrick’s friends reminded him of the bullies he had in high school. Even if they weren’t as violent, they seemed to know how to get around the rules to do whatever they wanted.

“Almost there,” Don announced.

Patrick twirled his finger in the air as though to call for celebration. Even adding a, ‘woohoo,’ to emphasize his sarcasm and disinterest. His eyes barely left the screen of his phone. “Can’t wait to meet my roommate.”

Don could feel the statement dripping with a bit more sarcasm. With the long car ride, it was expected to be a bit irritable. That didn’t make it any less annoying. He tried to stay chipper as he stepped out of the car and took a deep breath. “C’mon! It’s the first day you’ll be moving in.”

Again, all Patrick could do was give a sarcastic, ‘woohoo,’ as he grabbed his backpack from the car. “Let’s just go check out my room. Hopefully my roommate’s not there…”

Don acted like he didn’t hear it as he headed towards the dorm building. The front desk gave them the key and they headed up to the third floor. “Now don’t be nervous. I’m sure your roommate is going to be nice.”

“I’m not the nervous one,” Patrick pointed out. He leaned against the walls of the elevator, arms folded across his chest.

“Right,” Don said. He was ignoring the anger behind his son’s voice.

The elevator opened and there were several college aged students moving throughout the hall. Don made sure to move around them, as Patrick went straight down the one side, expecting them to move for him. He put the key in the door, but it was already unlocked. Pushing it open he saw his roommate. A firm scowl filled his face.

“Hi!” Don said with an excited smile. He outstretched his hand towards the guy. “I’m Don and this is my son Patrick. He’ll be your roommate for the semester.”

“Hi, I’m Jeremy,” the guy grabbed and shook Don’s hand.

All Patrick could think was, ‘what a dork. No wonder he gets along with dad…’ He dropped his book bag by the unoccupied bed and bounced on it. “So you’re my roommate?” Patrick scoffed. He stood nearly a head taller than the guy and figured he’d weigh nearly twice as much. He could have easily used the runt as weights if he wanted to, and maybe when his father left he would have.

“Yep,” Jeremy said. “My boyfriend’s bringing up the last of my stuff. I wish I could room with him… But the school doesn’t want that.” He laid on his bed sighing.

“Well, I’m sure you’ll still get to see him plenty. It’s not that big of a campus,” Don offered.

Jeremy rolled to his side. “I know… It’s just I’d like to be with him more,” his eyes weren’t looking at Don anymore. They seemed fixated on something else that wasn’t in the room. The way his finger twirled around seemed to indicate something else entirely.

“Whoops! Sorry.” Don nearly got knocked out by an absolute giant of a man walking through the door. “Almost hit you.”

Don stared upward, awestruck at how this could be a college student. He stood well over a foot above him and packed with an unbelievable amount of muscle. His shoulders filled the doorway and head nearly had to duck under to fit inside. “It’s alright,” Don rubbed the back of his neck almost feeling like he had been hit. “I’m fine.”

Patrick stood up as well. “You’re… You’re Jeremy’s boyfriend?” he tried to measure himself up to the other man, but was so insignificant that the other guy didn’t even notice.

“Sure am, Name’s Kyle,” Kyle held out his hand for Patrick to shake.

“Jesus… Since you’re on the football team, I didn’t expect you to be…”

“So big?” Kyle finished the sentence for him. It was obvious that Patrick wanted to finish it differently. “I know. Most people don’t realize what it’s like to be my size.”

“I bet…” Don couldn’t stop staring. His mouth didn’t seem to close whenever he finished a sentence. “You must find it hard to fit into a lot of places…”

“From time to time. I guess I don’t think about it too much,” Kyle said. A hand went behind his neck as he rubbed the back of it smiling wide with his eyes closed.

“So we moving you in next bud?” Another booming voice filled the room. And another massive hand clutched onto Kyle’s shoulder. He was just as tall and wide as Kyle but looked a little bit older. Even though he had to be at least forty, he looked to barely even be thirty. “Oh. Hey, are you Jeremy’s roommate? Look a bit old to be in the dorms,” the man joked.

“No… Uh… I’m… Uh…” Don stammered.

“He’s just messing with you,” and another guy somehow squeezed in the doorframe. His head just poked over Kyle’s shoulder, but Patrick could see the handsome face that could have easily be on magazine covers. His heart sunk at his missing hairline and fading body at the literal Adonises standing in front of him.

“Of course I am,” the first one said. He turned his attention to what could only have been his son. No one else could have carried a genetic line like that. “Hey. How about us ‘old men’ leave you guys alone for a little bit. We can go get a drink and then be back if you need any help moving still. That alright?”

“Sure dad,” Kyle said. “Sounds like a great idea.”

“C’mon bud. Let’s go get a drink,” the giant’s attention turned back to him, hand outstretched. Just that one hand felt like it could have wrapped around his body.

“I… I don’t know,” Don said. He turned to his son for an answer.

With a scoff, “like I care. Go have a little bit of fun once in your life,” Patrick said. His arms were crossed against his chest again.

“Yeah,” the other father agreed. “You want to come out with us. I can tell.”

Don’s heart felt like it skipped a beat. He bit his lip trying to think of any reason to stay, but couldn’t. “Ok. But call if you need anything. Okay?” Don belted out over his shoulder as he felt his body swooped up between the two other men.

“We will,” Kyle said.

Patrick

“Man… With you on the team, I doubt we’ll have any trouble winning any games this season,” Patrick said. He bounced on his mattress as he stared up at Kyle’s massive body. He couldn’t believe just how big someone could possibly be. When he was thinking about using Jeremy as a weight, he almost felt like Kyle could do the same to him. Even if he was nearly 200 pounds, the idea of standing as tall as he could and just barely reaching past the other man’s chest just made him feel small.

“You bet! He was amazing in high school!” Jeremy jumped up and tried to tackle Kyle. All it did was turn into a hug.

Patrick felt himself grimace, but tried to turn it into a smile. It was far from convincing as his face scrunched up into a less than pleasant look. “Uh-huh. Can’t wait to see you on the field.”

“I bet,” Kyle raised his massive arm and gave it a flex. The fact that he was so built for someone his age was insane. That kind of definition and size didn’t usually come with anything other than age.

“So what are you on?” Patrick asked. He seemed to have been biting his tongue while the parents were there, but now that it was just the three of them he felt a bit more confident asking. “I’m guessing your father gets it for you.”

“I’m not on anything,” Kyle smiled. His eyes closed as the edges of his mouth curled up even more. “If I were, I wouldn’t be able to play football.”

“C’mon… Half the guys on the team are on something and you’re not? Please, you make them look small,” Patrick crossed his arms across his chest again. His stare turned more indignant.

“I make just about anyone look small,” Kyle laughed. “Don’t I?” His large hand poked at Jeremy’s side, tickling him. “But this is all genetic. Me and dad just really won the genetic lottery.”

Patrick let out a low guttural growl that got caught in the back of his throat. His chin pointed down while his eyes looked up. “That’s not just genetics,” he said. “I know it’s not.”

“It doesn’t matter what you think it is or isn’t,” Kyle said. His friendly smile turned a little more dark.

“It matters if you want to stay on the team,” Patrick wasn’t backing off.

“Well, it’s a good thing that I’m not on anything.” Now it was Kyle who crossed his arms against his chest. The large barreling muscles and thick arms crossed and seemed to flex in frustration.

Patrick tried to act nonchalant as he looked away. The overwhelming presence of Kyle started to get to him. He could see the veins in his arms starting to bulge out as Kyle’s muscles flexed. “Fine. Whatever,” Patrick dismissed. “Keep lying about it. See if I care.”

Kyle let out a grunt. “Trust me, everything I say becomes the truth.”

“What a weird way to phrase it. Sounds more like you just want to lie,” Patrick laid back in the bed and interlocked his fingers, while they sat on his chest.

Jeremy started to get angry as well. “You jealous or something?” A deadly finger pointed at the football player while his other hand rested on his hip. Kyle held him back, calming down at least a little bit.

“Jealous? Of him?” Patrick forced out a laugh. It was a bit over the top as his back arched. “Please… Like I’d be jealous of him.”

Kyle held his boyfriend back. The insults were far more direct and he wasn’t going to have any of that. But somehow Kyle seemed to have calmed down. He never liked it when people called him a liar, Jeremy knew that. And then saying his muscles weren’t naturally grown was the only thing that really seemed to get under his skin.

“Yeah, he’s not jealous of me,” Kyle leaned down and put his heavy arm around Jeremy’s tiny body. “He’s jealous of you.” One of his fingers pointed at Jeremy as he pulled the small guy up close and personal to his body, nuzzling his furry face into his sensitive neck.

Jeremy found it hard to do anything but giggle as he felt the tickling sensation. His body seemed to have collapsed in on itself as his natural response was to push away. But the feeling between his legs only begged for more. Once Kyle finally stopped, he stared mindlessly into his boyfriend’s eyes. “Me?” even pointing to himself, dumbfounded at the thought.

“Him?” Patrick was just as shocked. “And what am I jealous of?”

“His boyfriend,” Kyle answered.

The shock quickly turned to disgust as his nose scrunched at the idea. “I thought we already said I wasn’t jealous of you…” Patrick grumbled.

“Oh sorry, I meant that he has a boyfriend. Sure I’m a bit bigger than you’d normally like, but I can see just how angry you got when I walked in. You thought Jeremy was just some other dork and then he somehow got a stud like me,” Kyle’s massive body dropped down and seemed to wrap around Jeremy’s. His thick arms hugged him tightly while his legs were crossed in front of him. “Ain’t that right?” again, he went to kissing the nape of Jeremy’s neck, causing his little body to squirm at the sensation.

Patrick felt his body react, he tightened his grip on his fingers but tried to ignore it as Kyle continued talking. “See, I’m just too ‘alpha’ for him. He wants a guy he can top but I’m just not that. But it’s still got to be someone bigger than him.”

“Yeah?” Jeremy looked at his boyfriend with wide eyes. “Probably hard to find.”

“It can be. Especially when he’s so shy around guys. He wants to dominate them so bad but gets so awkward around guys he barely knows,” Kyle swayed Jeremy’s body back and forth. “It’s even worse around guys he likes.”

“I-- I--” Patrick was starting to feel his confidence relapse. Around his father, he felt so confident, but now that he was alone with these strangers again, he didn’t know what to do. His throat seemed to be closing up and he couldn’t think of anything to say. He wanted to act like it didn’t bother him, but it did.

“It’s alright man,” Kyle said. “I’m sure you and Jeremy will get along. Just give it a day or two and I’m sure you’ll realize you have a lot in common.”

“Yeah? And what’s that?” Patrick still had a bit of snide in him.

“Besides his height and weight, I’m sure there’s a couple other interests as well,” Kyle said.

“Wha--?” Patrick cut himself off. Something weird seemed to be happening to him. He couldn’t quite explain it but everything around him seemed a bit off. Like it was all bigger. Sure, Kyle was a giant but he was looking down on Jeremy. Wasn’t he? “But I… But I…” words wouldn’t come out of his mouth as he tried to say them. He was too distracted with his body. It was so skinny. So scrawny.

“You both like football. Well the players,” Kyle corrected himself. “But I guess you think about topping them while Jeremy here would bottom.”

“I don’t think…”

“C’mon, don’t be so embarrassed,” Kyle said. “I know how much you want to have some other dude on your bed screaming your name. It makes you feel big. Makes you feel like you do on the inside, cause you can kind of still remember being that big strong football player but not really. Deep down those memories are still there but you know they aren’t real.”

There was a bit of an awkward silence at the way Kyle said it. It was so serious and so weird. But at the same time Patrick couldn’t deny it was true. Somehow he’d always have dreams about being the big guy on campus, tackling other guys on the field and forcing them underneath his body. But that couldn’t be possible. He was barely even 5’7” and weighed about half what anyone would on the field. And it’s not like he’d ever told anyone that either. “How’d you…”

A knock on the door seemed to make Patrick go quiet again. He could feel his heart racing at a new person entering the room. “Hey… Yo.” The guy entered the room and Patrick’s heart rate only seemed to double. He looked to be a little under 200 pounds but it was all muscle. A perfectly strong build that wasn’t overly bulky.

“Hey Dustin,” Kyle said. “We were just getting acquainted with Jeremy’s roommate.”

“H-hi, I’m Patrick,” it took nearly everything he had to stand up and say it. He felt like his hand was shaking as he outstretched it for Dustin to take. ‘Luck favors the bold. Luck favors the bold,’ he repeated to himself over and over again. The fear gripped his body but the arousal this other man was giving him made him want to overcome it.

“Sup, I’m Dustin,” Dustin shook Patrick’s hand and then put another one behind his head as he smiled. It showed off every single one of his teeth as his cheeks were pushing his eyes closed.

“Hey, so I was thinking,” Kyle interrupted them. “What if you and Jeremy switched rooms? I know we’re not supposed to. School rules or whatever. But c’mon…” A more devious smirk filled his face. “What’s the fun in that?”

The three of them all looked at Kyle as though they knew exactly what he was saying. “I’m fine with it,” Jeremy was the first to speak up.

“Of course you are,” Kyle hugged him tightly again. “But what about you two? Think it’d be okay? The RA’s not going to know who’s supposed to be what room anyways…”

“You sure man?” Dustin said.

“When have I ever been wrong?”

Patrick’s heart rate still hadn’t dropped since Dustin walked in. He could feel it pumping through his body as he looked up at his handsome face. Thoughts of himself burying it into his pillow quickly followed afterwards. “I’mfinewithit,” he answered. The three looked at him but Dustin was a little confused. “I mean. I can help you move over here too. Or we can move my stuff over there. I’m not really unpacked anyways.”

“You sure about that big guy?” Dustin asked. Patrick couldn’t help but feel that it was a little nervous. His arm seemed to go back behind his head again and the slightest of flexes added, subconsciously. And the added nickname. ‘Did that mean he was thinking about him? Or just something he’d normally do to everyone?’

Patrick wasn’t about to miss his chance. “Ye-Yeah,” he answered. “Why not? No reason to be lame about it.” Slow his confidence was starting to build up again.

“Right,” Dustin went to a giant smile again. Patrick could almost sweat he saw his face turn a little red. “Just hope I don’t end up keeping you up too late…”

“Don’t worry, you’ll be keeping each other up. I’m sure of it,” Kyle said. The two looked at him. Patrick wanted to punch him. But Dustin seemed to have grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

“C’mon man! Be cool!” Dustin shook the giant around a little, though the smile on Kyle's face didn't go anywhere.
