I waited up all night for this to drop, I’m from Sleep Token land(UK) so it was just after midnight when it finally appeared on YouTube. I just loved it from the start as it was the heavier song that I was waiting for when Aqua Regia dropped and of course that wasn’t heavy(but I love that now as well but it took a bit longer), the way that the screams just bookend the song is so cool and when Vessel comes in with his cleans which are amazing as always I just got goosebumps. The drumming from II is awesome as it always is and I’m no expert but it sounds like a double kick pedal is being used on the screaming parts but of course I could be wrong. It’s not my favourite of the new songs, that’s Chokehold ,but I must have listened to it at least eight times and I’m still getting those chills. Then of course they dropped the release date and preorders, let’s just say my wallet took one for the team. I can’t wait for the album but May just seems so far away, I think it’s already going to be my album of the year.
