The Conjuring World, Part 4

Story 1 of 3, Post 22 of 33 for July.

---------------------------------------

Having new people around made Kevin and Sabrina much more conscious of their situation, especially since some of the new people were kids who were their size or larger.

"That's why Oliver wished them up." Sabrina's Pampers diaper bulged slightly out of the crotch of her onesie.

"I know. Sadists!" Kevin was wearing a T-shirt over his diaper, but he still couldn't take it off.

"If it weren't for Sabrina, we might be able to convince Oliver to let us, but she encourages him."

"We tried that before he wished her up, remember?"

"Yeah, and maybe we could have convinced him if we'd had more time. It's too late now."

"I'm not so sure about that."

Kevin shot her an incredulous look. "You really think we can change both of their minds?"

"No, I'm thinking all these new people they've wished up might be able to help us. Did you see how that couple looked when Oliver told them what he did to us?"

"Yeah, they were both like, 'What the fuck?' So what? What can they do for us? The room won't grant their wishes. Oliver won't let it."

Sabrina nodded. "True, but if we could get them alone and tell them our side of the story, they might agree to carry us to the door, and we can escape."

"It wouldn't work. Oliver wished he was the only person who could turn the doorknob."

She sighed. "We're two intelligent people. We SHOULD be smarter than they are. There has to be a way out of here, and we should be able to find it."

"Baby, neither of us even knows how this room really works. It's obviously some kind of magic, and we don't know magic."

"No, but I've heard there are rules for magic. If that's true, then there have to be rules for the room. If we could figure them out, maybe we could use them to our advantage."

He considered what she was saying. "Sounds logical. But how do we do that?"

"I guess by testing the limits of what the magic in the room can do."

"How?! It won't grant our wishes anymore!"

"Kevin, we're older and smarter than they are. We should be able to influence them, manipulate them. Get THEM to make wishes."

"Yeah, we could do that." After a moment, he went on. "There's another possibility. These other people they've wished up can't make any wishes, but they could overpower Oliver and Monica if they caught them by surprise. Maybe they could influence our 'parents.'"

"Which brings us back to getting them on our side."

"Right."

"Any idea on how to do that?"

Kevin laughed. "I haven't gotten that far yet. But if we were able to spend some time with some of these people, maybe we could think of something."

"Well, we gotta try. For god's sake, we're sitting here in baby diapers!"

"Living like babies."

"Worst of all, we were put here BY a baby."

Kevin looked at her. "You still think of that monster as a baby?"

She sighed. "Not really. But I can't forget how cute and innocent he was when we first got him."

"Those days are long gone. He's all grown up now, and there's nothing cute or innocent about him anymore. He's cruel and evil."

"Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

"Exactly."

"Well, the good news is that they're both excited about having all these new people around. That should make it easier for us."

Over the next few days, the tiny couple encouraged their captors to take them out to spend more time with their neighbors. It wasn't hard to do because Oliver and Monica already wanted to spend more time with the newcomers. When they wake up in the morning, one of the littles would make a show of not wanting to be around the neighbors. They might ask, sounding hopeful, "Are we staying home today?" The answer was always something like, "No, I think we should take you guys out for some fresh air."

As they were around these new giants, Kevin and Sabrina watched them carefully for their reactions or any sign of discomfort or disapproval. What they quickly discovered was that most of them were put off by the idea of adults being imprisoned and treated like babies, especially by someone who had wished the situation into being and who had wished the new neighbors into existence. The tiny couple guessed that the giants had similar thoughts and feelings of fear. If Oliver and Monica could infantilize Kevin and Sabrina and wish these new people up, what was to stop them from turning more grown-ups into babies? Their needs were all met by the controlling couple's wishes. Every family had food, a home, and entertainment. They even had TV and internet that seemed to mirror the outside world without allowing communication with it. It all seemed perfectly idyllic until they looked at the miserable pair wearing diapers and baby clothes who were forced to soil themselves and suffer endless indignity and shame, proving that their providers' generosity and kindness was limited. All Kevin and Sabrina had to do was look for chances to talk to them and play on that fear.
