Billing Change

Patreon has made a change that allows creators to bill patrons on a subscription basis, meaning they will only be charged once during the month if they sign up after the 1st. I immediately switched because it's always bothered me that someone signing up on the 25th would get billed for the full pledge again a few days later on the 1st. In the past, I've actually refunded people's pledges if they signed up in the last week of the month to fix that, which still gave them access to my content. But more often that not, there was confusion about what was going on, and the patrons seemed to think I was rejecting their support because they'd cancel their pledge and never come back. Obviously, I couldn't keep turning away patrons, so I stopped giving those refunds. With this new billing practice, it's no longer an issue!

While I'm posting, here's a quick note on content production. My script for the last audio of the month has taken longer to write than I expected, so I went ahead and made an edit last night before resuming work on the script. I hope to finish writing it today and record it tonight, but if it's delayed again, I'll knock out some more of my pictures. I still plan to write my three stories after everything else is done for the month, and I believe I'm on track to finish all of my content before the 30th.
