Coffee with FG 2

It's been about 2 weeks since my last post about the modlists. In that time, MOISE was updated to v1.2.0 and Dungeons & Deviousness has been submitted to become an official list on the Wabbajack UI. Good times!

MOISE's update was primarily to bring in some things that the list didn't have access to until just recently. Morrowind Modding History is a great site with a lot of mods for Morrowind that aren't available anywhere else. I also tweaked a few things with the landscape to keep that vanilla but high quality feel. Lastly, somehow I'd missed the part where the grass mods need to be generated as part of Distant Land. That's been fixed so the landscapes should look much less empty now. I hope you all enjoy the update.

Dungeons & Deviousness is in a pretty good spot. I've cleaned up most of the last outstanding bugs and have been satisfied with the combination of Defeat and DAYMOYL. So, I have submitted it for review by the modlist testers. I'm hoping it will be officially released in the next week or so, possibly with some minor tweaks if needed.

Over the last couple of weeks, Living Skyrim has become a bit of a nightmare. There's a bunch of bugs that people have reported. I'm very thankful for the reports, but I'll admit it's a bit daunting coming back to it after the break of low-maintenance lists like D&D and MOISE. It's going to take me a while to work through them all, but it will get done eventually. The next update for LS will be 2.3.0. After that, I think I would like to officially put LS on maintenance mode: just bug fixes and broken link updates when I feel like working on it. It's already pretty much at that point, but I think it's about time to make it official. This doesn't mean Living Skyrim is dead (quite the opposite in fact, there have been over 9000 completed installs!) but don't expect any major content changes anytime soon.

As for the future outside of the current three lists... I'll be honest, I don't want to put together any more lists. At least, not right now. In the meantime, I know there are a couple of unofficial forks of my lists in the works. I'd encourage people to try them out if you want something new in the vein of LS and friends. The people working on them are good folks. I'll also continue to update my lists as needed, but I don't have any plans for anything new right now. Over six months of working on lists nonstop has me a bit ready to take an extended break. We'll see what that looks like soon.

I wanted to also mention that I only check my Patreon once a week or so. If you message me on here, I probably won't get it for a while. If you want to chat about things, the LS Discord is definitely the place to do it. If you have something you specifically want to address to me (even if it's just a simple thank you) feel free to ping me over there or utilize the Testimonials channel.

Thanks again for all of your support.
