Quick update, part 2!
Added 2021-02-27 14:54:23 +0000 UTCHey everyone! This will probably be a rehash of the last post, but I prefer being transparent over keeping silent.
Anyway, I have the first couple of parts of A Rodent of Unusual Size (and yes, that will be the title because I find that more exciting than an acronym) just about ready to go, with the third episode ready for proofreading, and the rest of the first major act outlined and ready to put to paper!
However, I also recognize I'm moving a bit slower than usual, which I think is okay. It'll give me time to make sure I'm happy with what I'm writing before I move onto the next episode (and also give myself time to stop blushing between some of the spicier moments of the story. Heh).
The first episode of A Rodent of Unusual Size begins two weeks from today, on March 13th, and will have a tentative two-week-per-episode release schedule, with an asterisk and very fine, tiny print which also says "or when it's ready". My goal is to keep up a regular writing schedule, and I hope that by spacing the episodes out in this way, it'll prevent that burnout from happening that hit me during the previous serial. The first two episodes will be free for everyone to read, to give you a taste of what's to come. Future episodes will be exclusive to supporters, with $5 and up supporters getting to read the new episode a week before the $3 tier. For now, I plan for this story to remain Patreon-exclusive, although I would like to get those first two episodes up on FurAffinity, too, if only to get more eyes on it.
I must say, despite the pacing, I'm really excited about this next story! The cast is already growing on me (in more ways than one), and I can't wait for you to meet them all!
Aaaaand this ended up being more than a "quick" update. Oops! Anyway, I'm going to take the weekend to recuperate after what has been a very rough February (and to celebrate one more rotation around the sun on Sunday); once I've rested up, the drafting and proofreading will begin again in earnest!
Once again, thank you all for your support and patience. Payments will resume for this month, and I plan to make your contributions worth your time!
