Coffee with FG 12
Added 2021-05-25 17:00:13 +0000 UTCIt's been a while since my last update, and a lot has changed since then. Time to get everyone up to speed.
If you've been following along on Discord, you know that I had a bit of a rough time being able to push updates to my lists. That has come and gone - I start a new job very soon that will allow me to remain home and continue working on my lists in my spare time. That means we're back to full capacity for working on lists and I expect updates to become somewhat more regular again. You've likely already seen this with the release of LS 3.2.0/3.2.1.
Living Skyrim 3.2.1 has a few outstanding bugs that I need to hunt down, but I wouldn't consider any of them major and am happy with the state of the list at the moment. Until such time as it becomes necessary, this is going to be the version we'll be sticking with for a while, because...
D&DDC development is in full swing. I pushed out Alpha 3 to the dev team a few days ago and am actively working on Alpha 4. I expect the new revised timeline to hold true: Open beta release on 6/4 followed by full release a few weeks after that. I post previews of the list regularly on the Discord server, so if you'd like to follow along with development, that's the place to do it.
MOISE is, as far as I'm concerned, complete. Barring a mod update that takes it down, I don't feel any need to touch it.
Atelier needs an update to add some outfits and such we've been eyeing, but otherwise is also in a good spot. Atelier is far and away my least popular list, so you'll have to forgive me for being slow to update it. LS3 and now D&DDC took a lot of my time away from it. Maybe once D&DDC hits open beta I can come back to it and fix it up proper-like. Until then, it's fine.
As for things beyond the lists, I've made a couple of policy changes to the way I build them: First, I no longer accept mod suggestions for any list. With the support of my amazing and wonderful dev team, we stay on top of new mod releases and major updates to existing mods enough as it is. I don't feel the need to crowd-source mods to add to my lists anymore. Second, we revised the Discord server structure to make it so you have to opt-in to view channels for any given specific list. This helps users make sure their channel list isn't cluttered with things they don't care about and allows us to make sure that Hotel Rule 11 remains separate from the rest of the server.
All that said, thank you for your continued support. I'm planning to use some Patreon funds to give back to the community in the near future, so your patronage makes that possible and I'll have more details regarding that soon.
Cheers.
