Some personal life updates, and some announcements

Hey folks, I know I don't really do these all that often, and, frankly, I probably should do them more often, but here we are. Either way, I wanted to give y'all some important updates on what's going on with me in meatspace, and how that will affect my patreon. 

If you want a TLDR, I'll be sure to put one at the end of the post, so feel free to skip right ahead to that if you wanna. But to start off simply: I got a new job, and will probably have less time to write. Some of you may be aware, but I've been unemployed since January of 2021 and living off of savings, as well as my patreon income. And tomorrow, that ends. Here's the thing, though, a fancy new job is going to take up a lot of my free time and energy, and, while I fully intend to write as many words as I can squeeze out of my gay little brain, there's almost certainly going to be a drop in my output. How much? I can't say, but knowing myself I am quite certain it will go down.

So what does that mean going forward? Well, I'll probably try to narrow and cut back on the scope of my writing projects. Right now, there are three long-form stories I have in the words which I would very much like to finish. They are:

1. Lesbians Kill the Demon Queen Etc.

2. Love in a Murderous Place

3. An HDG verse work which I have currently only shared on my patron discord server / among the broader community of HDG authors.

That HDG story is likely going to be the first thing I complete, as it's currently what calls to me most and, frankly, HDG stories attract new patrons like bottoms to dommy 12 foot tall gay plant ladies. After that, though, I am hoping to alternate between writing new chapters for LKtDQ / LiAMP and writing quick n' kinky one shots.  At what pace, and whether the pattern in which I alternate will have any rhyme or reason to it, I cannot say. In all likelihood I will write what strikes me when it strikes me, with little heed to what project needs the most attention. But, at the very least, expect a blend of updates to my more serious works, along with a tasty sprinkling of more titivating works. 

On the horny front, you'll likely be not at all surprised, and hopefully not disappointed to hear that you can expect more mind control and TF (mostly gender / monster girl related) content, along with a healthy smattering of HDG one shots because I know that setting lives rent free in some of y'alls heads (not that I'm any different).   

As far as other patron rewards go. I'll be honest with y'all, I'm sure you're quite aware already, but I haven't been great at keeping up with rewards outside writing new content. That's likely not to change any time soon. I apologize, but it's the reality of things. I absolutely understand if a reduction in the amount of content I produce will cause some of y'all to drop off, it doesn't change my appreciation for your past support.

BUT, if you know me, you also know I'm not one to end on a downer. I have some exciting news! Frankly, this new job I have pays a heck of a lot more than I need. I won't give exact details, but suffice to say I will be living comfortably, with plenty left over for savings and emergency expenses. That being said, I very much do want to continue to grow my audience and income here, as, while it is a far off dream, the ability to support myself entirely with writing alone is something I would love very much . Which begs the question: in the meantime, what am I to do with this modest, but not insubstantial bit of income y'all are providing me?

My final announcement is this: starting next month (February 2022), and continuing until I announce otherwise, my patreon income will go toward mutual aid. How exactly the logistics of this will work, I'm not yet sure. But suffice to say, if you read my stories, you probably know my politics. I will make sure the money goes to people who need and deserve it more than I do, and I will do my best to ensure it does not go to people who would use that money to cause harm. I will ideally set up a way for people to track my mutual aid spending, and perhaps even set up a way for people to vote on where the money goes. We'll see! Either way, if you give me your money, you'll get some nice, fun smut, and as a nice little bonus, that money will go to people who need it a heck of a lot.

TLDR: I got a new job. My output will decrease, but I will keep writing. Starting in Feb and until further notice, my patreon income will be going toward mutual aid instead of my bank account.
