hey hows it going. having issue with first person in car, when turning the car, my camera just stays looking forward so its hard to see. tried changing the drift setting to 0 but didnt work. When on foot first person, aiming makes charactor spin, any way to fix any of these issues? thank you

Hello, I just upgrade my subscription and try the mod, and I love it, BUT when I press F9 it shows the menu but is not giving me all the options to toggle and change you show on the demo video. ViewPointV can't crash the game, since it is a .NET script. Worst case scenario, it will show an error notification in the left bottom corner and you'll have to reload the scripts. If your game crashing without any error message when you are pressing F9 then you are using the regular SHDNV instead of nightly, 100%

Known issue, it happens because the smoothing of the cameras is based on the framerate, and apparently it is not consistent when framerate is too high or too low. Send me a PM on Discord, I will send you the fix in about 12hours from now

ah thank you for telling me, i dont know if its common knowledge but extended camera settings seems to be compatible from the little testing ive done and it let me put higher up the camera when aiming in third person so that my head wouldnt block the cursor when running to the right

hey i love your mod its so fun but can you add a new cam that is like a bodycam but from your players perspective/eyes so first person is more realistic but so you also dont need to walk to look around like the other bodycams so basically like a bodycam but from your eyes. (sorry if i didnt say enough i just cant find how to say it) but still the mod is AWESOME its very fun and makes lspdfr traffic stops infinite times better but anyways i hope you can cook something up with my recommendation👍

The reason for the error is that you are using the regular version of the mod while having the nightly SHDNV version installed. Just use ViewPointV-nightly.dll instead of ViewPointV.dll

I did everything right, im using a trainer, gun realism mod, a ragdoll mod, and a blood mod. Im also using the dismemberment.asi or whatever its called. Yes, you have to install the nightly build of SHDNV. The crash is due to latest gta updates breaking regular SHDNV compatibility. hello again, I did as u said and i dot get the error now, but i get an scripthook v error whenever im about to load in to the charachter, after the loading screens. I dont know what error it is, but whenever i press F9 the menu dosent open and the mod says "open the menu first " i have no idea how to fix the scripthook error since it has been there for a while but im also not sure if that is the thing causing this mod issue.

Hello! The mod isnt working for me. I think i downloaded it correctly step by step as the "read me" said. 1. Make sure you also use the nightly build of the mod 2.Make sure you don't have any old scripts that weren't updated for long, since they can cause crashes with the nightly SHDNV

Works very well, only issue I have is that my first person V cam shadow does not have a head. Ruins that entire view running around headless.

Hello, I really love this heavenly mod and now I can't imagine going back to vanilla FP. Anyways I have some suggestions and or bug reports here: 1. When messing with aiming offset and video stabilization is off, the camera tilts way too much sideways, so you can’t even tell how to adjust the axis properly. This definitely needs fixing so we can control it better without it going all crazy. 2. Stop the phone from popping up when the ViewpointV menu is open. Right now, the arrow keys controls the menu but also brings up the phone at the same time, which is annoying. 3. Make it so we can bring the top-down camera closer to the player and let us use the keyboard to move it instead of the mouse because the mouse is too inconsistent. 4. Add some camera shake when there are explosions, so it feels more realistic. 5. Make a separate key like "B" for the ViewpointV cameras. Right now, you have to go through all the vanilla cameras just to get to them, and sometimes you accidentally disable the vanilla ones. 6. Fix stabilization, for example, there’s either too much movement without it or barely any with it on. like, when taking cover, jumping, rolling over, the camera just floats and doesn't actually attach to the head. 7. Be able to aim down the iron sights in first-person mode with guns like the assault rifle. It should be more like how it feels in vanilla first-person or like the game Bodycam, where there’s a bit of sway and movement.. 8. First-person mode in motorcycle needs to let us look up or down more, especially when on a motorcycle going uphill or downhill. Right now, it feels like there's alot of resistance, and you can barely tilt the camera up or down while riding. 9. Add a feature in ViewpointV cam mode where pressing "C" lets you look behind with a dashcam-style view. For example, in trucks where you can’t see behind, have a dashcam camera placed on the back of the truck, or other customizable spots. And it should let you modify the camera position. 10. Idk if this is complex since idk coding, but it would be nice to tweak the shake intensity and choose which axis has more movement. For example, you could make running have more vertical shake than horizontal, and add more vertical shake when jumping or running to make it feel more realistic. 11. Make an option to reset the camera position back to 0 when it gets out of whack. 12. In dashcam mode, let us rotate the camera 360 degrees horizontally and add some shake when crashing, so it feels more immersive. 13.Add a dedicated key for first-person mode so we don’t have to cycle through other cameras just to get there. 14. Fix the issue where sometimes bullets don’t go where the gun is aiming in first-person. The shots should actually line up with where the gun is pointing. 15. When modifying aiming offset, it would be helpful if you could be in an aiming stance (with your weapon equipped), so you can immediately see how the axis is affected, instead of having to guess blindly until you get the right position. 16. Add multiple dashcam positions with keybinds (e.g., PgUp + 1, PgUp + 2, etc.) to quickly switch views during gameplay. This would be cool for moments like offroading, racing, car crashes, police chases etc.

This mod is a godsend it reminds me of a game in ROBLOX called Hellmet, except now it's in GTA, and way better. Even the vehicle FP is enhanced and new steering animation, and now feels natural and realistic, as if the vehicle actually has weight, now you can see the vehicle swaying especially in offroads, the vanilla FP just feels like the camera was attached to the car, it was very boring and bland. If you know what I mean it's basically this. basically vanilla first person vehicle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqc-DyJR4qQ basically the vehicle FP with this mod: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53OnvZPeZ0Q&t=51s Also the gun combat is now much better, natural, and reminds me of police bodycams, the vanilla one is boring and has no visible recoil and all you see is Trevor's fungal infected hands with the first person. NOW THE MOD IT'S ABSOLUTELY MAJESTIC BEYOND THE GALACTICAL BOUNDS OF UH IDK, the gun combat now feels real, no longer feels snappy has sense of delay and realism now, has visible recoil, can hide reticle so you don't one shot enemies all the time, also the fact that you move your arms first before your body and control with mouse. AND YOU CAN EVEN ALTER THE CAMERA, I am tired of that stupid FOV of vanilla that only the hands you can see and has no recoil at all NO GODDAMN NOTHING. Cinematic modes and effects are also really good. This mod is worth every penny, I did not get paid to say anything I just love this mod so much. It fixes alot of stuff especially driving and running, vanilla felt as if you were a bird, your POV barely shakes nor moves even if your running like a cheetah. That's all, my only suggestions are adding non-video stabilization only when running , because idling tilts your camera to the side slightly, and walking makes your head go side to side. Switch sides whether left or right especially shouldercam. Make vehicle camera sens less slower and delayed. Make steering wheel turn anim a little slower. Also make a setting that, idk if you can alter sound but make the sound less crisp, low quality, to make that bodycam effect.

My bad, I just tested it myself; it was the Knight Rider script I have that conflicts with ViewpointV... Once I removed one of the files that modifies the camera, ViewpointV works as it should!

BRO, for the past couple of days I've been playing with this and a few other mods, one of those other mods is a realistic speed and handling overhaul... i just have to say, your mod has THE BEST sense of speed I've ever seen in a video game hands f*cking down, and racing games are basically all i play! Great mod and amazing work! Is this mod mainly for Keyboard users? It could be user error on my end but the controls don't seem to translate to controller. It's like I can't turn my body and he stops to make small little turns before moving forward at normal speed. Also when I press ASD keys on WASD they seem to just make the char walk forward. It seems to work great when I play it like an FPS on keyboard though so I may just need to adapt my controls.

There are builds for both the regular and the nightly builds of SHDNV. If you're using the latest GTA update, regular SHDNV is no longer compatible with the game so you're forced to use the nightly version and the nightly build of the mod.

Hey, the reason for that is you're using a sound mod that doesn't have proper 1st person sounds. I added an option to force 3rd person audio for the next update to fix this issue.

The regular SHDNV is not compatible with the latest GTA update. You have to use the nightly build for now. Luckily ViewPointV has 2 versions, one that is compatible with the regular and one with the nightly build. If you need help send me a message on Discord.

Send me your ScriptHookDotNet.log located in your GTA directory, and I will tell you how to fix. About reloading the mod without restarting the game, you can reload all script mods by opening the SHDNV console (F4 by default) and typing Reload(). You can also edit ScriptHookDotNet.ini to create a hotkey for that. Send me a DM on Discord with your log I will help you fix it

Sorry I had to be more specific, I meant that you can toggle the radar via the mod's menu, not the game menu. When in DashCam view mode press F9 -> Edit This Camera -> Hide Radar

1. No problem, I will add the overlay to the shoulder camera 2. About Headcam - I plan to add x, y, z in the coming updates but the First Person Camera is a bit tricky, just like you said due to clipping. You essentially can't move it without causing clipping issues. 3. Just signed up for Patreon. Great work! I do want to ask if it is possible to add any of the following in a future update. 1. Shoulder cam Axon Bodycam overlay. A lot of officers have lapel Bodycam, so that would make sense. 2. Headcam - Any ability to add a x,y,z positioning? Or ability for the First Person Cam positioning? I can understand if that is not possible due to clipping. I am trying to get the cam like First Person but just slightly downward by small increments. 3. First Person Vehicle - Axon Bodycam overlay. I love the dashcam so that is perfect, but just seeing if it would be possible for a Axon Overlay in First Person, so that I can go from First Person on foot with body cam, then get in vehicle and it keeps the overlay in place. It's a very nice mod. One grip is that the controller button to change the view doesn't seem to work, it not bad but a bit annoying to have to press V instead.
