Mega Upload-Horrortale Book I

All pages of Horrortale Book I in one post~

ALL pages of Horrortale Book I are here, all together. My god, the style has changed so much. I like the idea of compiling it all into one big book, but the pages would need so much re-formatting, I just can't imagine.

High-res images are not included. They are accessible here for pie+ patrons~

Some pages are missing, having been released as animations instead. The following pages can be watched here.
Page 9 (Flowey reanimates)
Page 20 (Aliza retries)
Page 22 (Meet Sans)
Page 43 (Lunch or Dinner)
Page 95 does not exist. That was an error on my part :I

Thank you for your patience as I re-organize these collections~

You are incredible and thank you for leaving an incredible comment. I really wanted to craft a story with many angles and motivations behind the character's behavior, and you've pretty much nailed all of them. I'll do my best to keep the story as interesting as I can!

One of my favorite things about the incident involving the core is that there's no set bad guy in that situation. From Alphys' and Undynes' perspective, they didn't have any other choice that was guaranteed to work, Sans did have a possible solution, but it's one that could've potentially taken months, maybe even years, all for just a chance of working. It was the only way they could ensure that the kingdom would survive, to save as many lives as possible, it's not an ethical or moral way to do it, but if given no other option, choosing the lives of many other the life of one is the correct thing to do, even if it would be ideal for everyone to survive. Yet, can you truly blame the one in that equation for fighting back? for wanting to live? If anyone else were in that situation, they would probably fight for their life aswell. Keep in mind that Undyne didn't discuss that possible solution with him beforehand, from Sans' perspective, he's been jumped and betrayed by Undyne and her guards, he's been forced into a situation with barely any heads-up whatsoever and is being threatened with potential death, who wouldn't fight back? It's not like Undyne even spoke to Sans' about this beforehand or tried to talk him into it, hell maybe he would have gone through with it if he had been talked through it, we don't know because Undyne got desperate, Alphys got desperate, and Sans, when put into a sudden life or death situation involving his friends, got desperate. The only truly bad thing I can say in this situation is Sans' destroying the core, yet even that is understandable to an extent. He's just been betrayed by two of his closest pals and has been scarred for life both on the inside and the outside. He had tried to talk to Alphys about his plan beforehand, try and sort out a solution so that everyone could have a chance at living, only for her to go behind his back and try and kill him out of the blue. So Y'know what? Fuck your plan. and fuck you, is this what you really wanted? Of course it was the wrong decision on Sans' part, as he essentially doomed monsterkind in doing so, but again, he was desperate and clearly wasn't thinking straight, I don't think anyone would think straight in that situation. It's not like he's written as the good guy for it either, he himself knows that it was a stupid bad idea to destroy the core, as he says so himself later, he was just, as I said before, desperate. He fucked up bad, but he's not portrayed as the good guy for it, he's flawed, even more so than usual due to the circumstances, that's what makes him interesting, what makes this setting overall interesting. There's no bad guys in this story, there's just monsters trying to survive, trying to keep themselves alive, some try and keep themselves and others alive, but in the end it's all about survival, and you can't blame anyone for simply wanting to live. Been a long time fan of this story, but never donated until now, keep up the good work.

Ah, do you mean my attempt at re-drawing pages from Book I? I hadn't made it beyond page 5 I think, but I'll compile those into a single post too this month~ Let me know if you meant something else.

Sorry for maybe being nosey but do these updates mean you're going to upload the new version of the first book soon?

I'd love to purchase a horrortale book personally, if you were to ever make one! Fancomics are one of my favorite ways to support artists :)
