Hello dear Patrons, here are some extra tidbits on all pages uploaded in August thus far~

Starting off with Dogaressa's sketch vs the final. This panel has been in my mind for a long, long time. It's incredible to finally get to this point.
A more bizarre example of drafting VS. final. I promise you my first attempts are almost always deleted immediately. It can take a lot of erasing/revising before getting to the final look. It was great fun fulfilling as many requests as I could. Honorable mention goes to Bratty, who I tried and failed to include, but I think her absence speaks more on Catty's distant stare.
Someone mentioned the use of colors on page 47 I think, and the truth is it took a really long while to decide what to do. At first the whole page was in total saturated color, but it was just too much. I ultimately preferred just the one panel being colored, though I liked the idea of the monsters eye's showing their obsession like this.
It can't be seen in the official page, but behind the second panel, the two main royal guards are nervously touching hands under their cloaks. I loved including that, but Undyne's head in panel 2 didn't look good elsewhere. She's the most important character on this page, so she gets precedence on placement.
Poor Sans. He gets really beat up in this one, once again. I actually really liked the topmost draft, but if Undyne withdrew his eye from his socket, how'd he get the enormous crack in his head? I always associated that injury with that attack, and I didn't like the way he looked facing away, so I settled for the final draft seen here. I really wish I could re-draw some pages from Book I, especially their fight. But new pages are more important.
Again, struggling with color before settling for the final. The original panel had some guards in the background too, but I preferred saving their "transformation" for a panel with more space.
