toriel looks confused in an oddly cute manner here which is refreshing i also appreciate how flowey is in character while simultaneously acting against the main passive characters good intentioned interests without breaking character, by having a detached emotionless sense of absolute justice and justification. this is actually how i'd imagine a 'good guy' flowey instead of a bad one, he shifts his cruelty and apathy from the innocent to the morally bankrupt and selfish
