The Dark Knight Rises full-length reaction

Watched on: Prime Video (UK)

For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage, so you'll need your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your phone is also viable to watch one of them.

As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first RECOGNISABLE frame (ie. not a black screen) of the episode. Don't worry, I'll show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction!

This will be:

✨The first frame of the opening credits.✨

OR

✨The first frame of the cold open.✨

Once you've found the approximate frame on your copy, pause it. Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.

A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

Note: Some of my older shows might have the first frame after the opening credits.

In my opinion, the best Batman movie

I haven't seen MobLand, I'll add it to my list. Thanks for the other movie recs too! 😊

Great reaction as always. Hope we see Memento win the poll as that's another great one from Nolan and his first breakout film that got things moving for him in Hollywood. Also hopefully Oppenheimer sometime soon as well. You're correct that there are no more films from Nolan in the Batman franchise, but he was heavily involved in getting the DCEU off the ground with Man of Steel. Although the only films I'd recommend from that universe would be Man of Steel, Batman v Superman (Directors Cut), Wonder Woman, and Zack Snyder's justice League. Since Tom Hardy is on the brain, not sure if you've watched it on your own yet but if not I'd HIGHLY recommend (and may have already??) MobLand as a TV selection at some point. Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Helen Mirren. Easily one of the best TV shows of the year and already renewed for a second season. Some great movie selections would be The Gentlemen, Locke, Legend, and Warrior for starters. As for Anne Hathaway, The Devil Wears Prada would be the big one. The Princess Diaries, or Les Misérables (which won her the Oscar) are both great as well. Les Mis is an excellent musical if you've never had the chance and also has an absolutely stellar cast. Sadly probably couldn't use that one on YouTube though given music copyright, and also why I haven't recommended Wicked, Sweeny Todd, or Rent to date either (all phenomenal film versions). Also don't even know how well they would go over in the community or if you even like musicals. But just some more suggestions to add to the list. Hope you have a great week.
