DRL Photography #7

We're heading into the home stretch of my feature on DRL Photography and today I'm sharing shots from the last set-up of this photo shoot.

Although we started off in the bathroom, bedroom, and a few other areas around the hotel room, Dan and I knew early on that we wanted to utilize the bathtub at some point during this photo shoot.  Since I would be getting wet (and didn't want to mess up my hair) we decided to save this part of the shoot until the very end, once everything else was out of the way.

For this handful of photos, Dan positioned himself on the far side of the room and we utilized a combination of both posed shots and ones that were more candid in nature.  As most people will agree, having a camera in your face is not a pleasant experience, so the fact that the photographer was out of my direct line of sight helped to make the process of undressing feel a little more natural and like it would had I been alone.

I really like this group of photos leading up to actually getting in the bathtub and I hope that you will too.  It's hard to explain, but they definitely have a "narrative" feel to them visually, almost as if they are telling a story.  There are still a couple more posts worth of photos to share before we wrap up this series and I'll be back in the coming days with those, so stay tuned!

See below for a ZIP file of all 8 photos if you'd like to download them. I've created 2 separate ZIP files to make the download process a little easier.

I hope you're having a nice week!
