As the final prayer left her lips, a shadow stirred among the columns. Dumrok, orcish warrior and sworn protector of her bloodline, stepped into the silver light. Powerful, silent, watchful. The last of his kind — just like her.
Words were not needed. Their connection had long since passed beyond them.
That night, what began as reverence turned into surrender, worship into pleasure.
At dawn, Saelis rose from the moss-covered altar and whispered:
“You will come with me. And we will cross the threshold of the Order together .”
