February update 1

For the last week (except the weekend, during which time I was playing the Monster Hunter Wilds OBT) I have been sketching and worldbuilding nonstop.

I'm pretty happy to start making work for this project. The lore book will still take me a couple of months but I'm going to start drawing 'Amarela' and her encounters with the various creatures that I've created to inhabit the world I built

Speaking of which-

Some of the first designs I made were for Mana Mutants; A collective term for groups of mutants whose genome settled in an optimal way.

They are my take on Hilichurls. All of them wear masks of some kind and have varying levels of technology. They collaborate with one another and either help or piss off neighbouring settlements.

They're all based on Caves of Qud builds I've had some level of success with, usually resulting from me doing an Unstable Genome challenge run. (Success measured by whether or not I survived Bethsda Susa.)

First, Fire Hawk group;

You will notice that they are echidnas. Their claws get hot enough to melt through solid rock so... yeah one of my favourite builds. Not sure if I'll keep the silly echidna faces or make them more human.

Their main kinky thing will be tar baths. They can melt it off, but it would dry onto humans and can be polished.

Second, Lilliumites;

Amphibious mutants that scrap war machines found at the bottom of the ocean, study the tech and use it to make farming equipment. Their main magic is brachiomancy and materiartus (create magic limbs, create magic objects) and they have normal fantasy weapons because they're pretty sure that weapons development is why there are ruins at the bottom of the ocean.

Their main kink thing is fucking machines. When you have robots to do all your busy work, how do you get busy?

Third, Sleet Ghosts;

They live on the mountain and that's about all anyone knows about them. There are no settlements at all so it's a mystery. They can disappear into the snow and weaponry passes right through them despite them being corporeal just a moment ago.

Their main kink thing is not having a kink thing, they're not usually interested in humans.

Finally, Harpies;

I just love harpies. They're cheeky, horny, and most of this group are cougars. The mask is just there to hide the wrinkles.

They sing to the plants to make them grow into all kinds of shapes, kind of like how WH40k Eldar use music to craft things. They live in jungle treehouses like Le-Koro from Bionicle.

They also pissed off a neigbouring village of sapient plants so badly the plants made a barrier out of horny plants that grab people. Just to keep the harpies out.

Their kinky thing is plants and tight clothing.

That's all the mutants, but there's also slimes;

Goobers, Party Poopers, Snoopers and Gloopers

They are the monsters that come out of the ero trap dungeon portals.

- Goobers are just lil guys. They maintain the dungeons, feed on anything, try to clean anything they come across and are pathetically weak.

- Party Poopers are the guards. They attack non-slimes on sight, leaving them bruised and full of venomous (tranquiliser) quills. They are resistant to damage and get stronger the angrier they get.

- Snoopers are ambush hunters. You cannot hear them, they make no noise. They can extend their 'no noise' magic field to other creatures that they catch. They usually grab them unaware and restrain them. They hunt for biomass to feed the other slimes.

- Gloopers are living prisons. They encase humans and mutants and hold them in place. Their dark colouring comes from a nullifying field. It doesn't matter how horny the captive gets, their magic will be drained away.

All of this is the most presentable of my current works, there's a ton of map stuff and world building behind all of this.

But finally

I made a cover for this series that serves as a showcase of 'Amarela', our adventurer, and her pet, 'Bob Blobbo' the Goober.

 Together they will venture into ero trap dungeon portals, clear the dungeons and close the portals to save the village from being overrun by slimes.

I'm just gonna start on it. Comic shorts, 4 panel defeat, whatever I can come up with.
