Good news/bad news

Hi everyone. This is the mid-month update.

I've not managed to make very good progress so far this month. My mental tanked in the first week but I was doing what I could. Although I'm toughing it out better now, it's not looking great for the rest of the month either.
You may recall I had a wisdom tooth causing problems, which I had removed in June. The biggest issue with it was the massive amount of pressure it was putting on my other teeth, which also made it a long surgery to remove (Dentist had to inject me with even more anaesthetic halfway through because it was wearing off) and my mouth is still healing.
The wisdom tooth opposite the removed one started getting really angry and messing up my gums, so bad it got infected. The infection made it to my tonsils and now my throat looks like a trypophobia hazard. I'm on 2 different painkillers, an anti-inflammatory and antibiotics and it still hurts like I have a razor blade stuck back there. My doctor says I will be fine but I'm probably only going to be working on the comic when the pain is bearable.
I've asked the dentist about it too, and they want to pull the wisdom tooth. That's next week.

This leaves me only about 3-4 days where I might feel fine. I think my plan is to get some horny art done for patrons during that time frame, to make sure the subscription is worth it.
Here's hoping next month is better.

Now for the good news.
I've been very unhappy with my Wacom graphics tablet pc. It overheated so bad last year that it burned out its own pixels. Wacom support fixed the screen but not the core issue, which completely negated the entire reason I bought the tablet pc rather than a tablet display- portability. It even continued to overheat (not as badly) when used as a tablet display but I needed to run a desk fan on the screen and it still burned my hand occasionally. I could not get it looked at by a 3rd party, repair shops flat out refused.

My partner bought a Huion graphics tablet, I decided I like it so now I have a 4k art device that doesn't want to self-destruct or hurt me. It came with some hotkey peripherals with like a scroll wheel and stuff, I'm slightly faster at working with it compared to the janky Wacom buttons.

TL;DR- Bad news: I have an infection and the meds aren't helping much. Good news: My partner gave me a new graphics tablet that doesn't overheat.
Do not buy Wacom products.

I'm planning the main content upload for this month to be on the 29th.
If it's earlier than that then you can assume my wisdom tooth removal went well.
