Ero Trap Rift Progress report

Hi everyone,

My wisdom tooth removal went very well, my dentist wants to delay pulling the last one until December (It would have been removed with the first one, but the surgery took so long that someone else's appointment got cancelled).

I jinxed myself asking for nothing bad to happen this month though. My partner slipped and broke their ankle on a wet floor. I've been helping them recover but a lot of our plans have fallen through or have been delayed, because I can't speak good enough Portuguese to be confident viewing an apartment or going shopping on my own. It's been pretty exhausting.

Here is the progress I've made this month:

I'll continue working on this for the rest of the month. Admittedly, the fact they're unfinished has less to do with my partner's current condition and more that I just wasn't happy with my initial sketches. The pages were bland and boring, it was just Varsia and the Chief talking back and forth, repeated poses and angles. The more I noticed the problem, the slower I worked until I hit a breaking point.
I changed the last panel on page 39, scrapped the last panel on page 40, the third panel on page 41, the entirety of page 42, some details on pages 43 and 44. I completely reworked all that to give you more of Amarela's reactions, more eye-candy and better dialogue. The whole scene is sexier and has more going on, Amarela has a completely different idea of what's going on than the slimes now.

Some of my time also got diverted into rewriting the chapter, which I felt was also really boring. I was planning for Bob to rescue Amarela and they go walk to the exit (stuff happens on the way there), but this makes Bob the main focus when really I need it to be Amarela.
So instead, Amarela is going to escape before Bob reaches her. Putting him in a bad position and allowing Amarela to wander around the slime's base and get into (horny) trouble. It also lets me bring the giant icky monster back as a plot point, although I'll probably go back and redesign it.

Speaking of redesigns, I hired Speedy-08 to help me redesign Terminus' military uniforms because they're a kink-friendly artist who likes to draw military uniforms and such.

I'll be going back to page 2 to change that first guard's uniform to this, and all future appearances of Terminus' guards will wear this uniform.
Speedy was very helpful and went beyond what I had expected, so I may hire them again for more uniforms.

Amarela also needs an update to her uniform. I'll handle that by making it a more terminus-focused chapter (probably next book or an in-between/extra for book 1) and give Amarela a new commanding officer who gets mad that her uniform doesn't match.

That's going to be this design, based on Speedy's sketches.

Some small details may be subject to change but this is the concept. I wanted it similar to her original outfit.

Since she will be leaving the hat and coat at the slime village, it should be more interesting as an outfit when it inevitably gets destroyed :)

I hope that's all good. For the fanart I'm cooking some Genshin again because someone convinced me to play it and the fatui lab got me horny.

Comment which Genshin character you want to be put in the tank, I made this as a template so I can redraw the face and hair. I wanna do as few as possible though so this is just to see who I should prioritise. Eula and Lauma are guaranteed.

I'll try and post that before the end of the month. I'll also be attempting kinktober again so I'm planning that out too.

Part 2 of ETR chapter 2 is definitely dropping by the 25th October at the latest.
I want to complete part 3 in November. It'll be 8 pages of Bob infiltrating the prison. Not sure if this will include extras but I will try. If not then the full release of Chapter 2 will be December.
Chapter 3 will kick off with Amarela fantasising over what she thinks the slimes will do to her now that they caught her and get extremely chaotic from there.
Chapter 4 will be a crazy 3-way chase through the slime base as everyone scrambles to recapture Amarela, all with different motives. Something else already found Amarela though, and she could be in danger...

TL;DR- It's not done yet, we're looking at a November/December release date for Chapter 2. I've rewritten some of the story to make it more exciting. I got back into Genshin so there's fanart of that coming up.
