After being completely absent through april, I was surprised and moved to find that I still have people backing me up.
I feel like a fraud and failure for not keeping up to the least of my standards. I'm sure no one would blame me for struggling with productivity during a pandemic, but I fear I have deeper-rooted problems that already existed before all this.
Action speak louder than words, so instead of writing a wall of text explaining why i'm so slow, or whine about my hardships, I want to be thankful.
Thankful that I am symptom free, fed and safe; That I'm living with my brother, so I don't feel lonely for the first time in years; That even though losing my mother last year was one of the hardest things i've had to go through, she left me enough to keep me safe during the scariest time of our lives. And of course, Thankful that I have supporters that help me live off my art and creativity, which will always be the greatest gift I could ask for.
