WIP 1: so you may be wondering: ENN, why is this so messy? Well the answer to that is because I’m learning procreate for the first time and drawing on an iPad is so much different from a Cintiq.
There’s not much I can say about this at the moment because my iPad is about to die, but let me know your thoughts! How do you feel about the pose so far?
WIP 2: Getting closer to completing the lines and getting closer to the painting stage! Vaati has such a fun design. I’m happy I’m finally drawing him again!
WIP 3: COVID has been kicking my butt these past few days so I haven’t been working as much as I would like, but I finally finished the lines and it’s time to start painting!
WIP 4: I sure went through a lot to get this piece here. It wasn’t easy, and I still have reservations about the colour scheme. I had to take it from Procreate, to Photoshop, then back again for the selective colour tool.
What are your thoughts?
WIP 5: I think we’re getting somewhere with this. I like Procreate because of how easy it is to use but I really miss a lot of Photoshop’s stuff. I’m still not completely sold on the colour scheme, I’m not sure what I can do yet to fix it but I’d like to figure out something!
WIP 6: i FINALLY have a colour scheme i'm satisfied with! it took a long time, but I think I'm finally ready to really go ahead with this painting. I had to drag this piece multiple times from Procreate, to Photoshop, then back again over and over to have access to Photoshop's superior colour correction.
FINISHED: Man, my hands are shaking with how much I was working on this, haha. But it's finished. I have mixed feelings about it, particularly the colours, but I tried my best. The fire was really difficult to do, and I don't even think I did it right. I was kinda BSing it all.
Now with this done, bedtime.
