Xiao/Ganyu Commission FINISHED (Final Update. Improved Colours)

WIP 1: heloooo everyone. Hoping you enjoyed the Edelgard/Claude smut from last night, haha. Claude is always so much fun to draw and very handsome to boot. Anyways, I bring here a new WIP, or Xiao/Ganyu from Genshin Impact! They haven’t been added yet,I’ve been focusing more on the perspective of the drawing first, and I think I’ve finally nailed it! Idk if this will be the final composition, I may just pull in th4 camera more. But for now, this is what we have.

WIP 2: so far so good! All we gotta do is line it and paint it now! :D

WIP 3: the colours aren’t exactly what I was going for. But I’ll keep messing with them as I move along. Hopefully this turns into a really good piece. :)

WIP 4: so their heads are done, and now I’m slowly working my way down from their heads to the rest of their bodies, and then on to the background. I think this might solidly be a whole two weeks of work if I work on it every day, so here’s hoping I can do it justice and that it takes off on social media!

WIP 5: couple of things done. First, Xiao’s torso is finished and his head. So on to his legs, then her body and hair, and then on to the background. Second thing: I cropped the composition slightly to bring in the focal point closer so the viewer is focusing more on the couple. It’s more intimate this way!

WIP 6: Xiao is done! Most of the couch and background are nearing completion. The windows will be a pain and I’m unfortunately feeling the burnout start to set in. 😭

WIP 7: couch is done, table is done, so all that remains is Ganyu, the tree/pot. The windows, and then we’re all good!

FINISHED: Well, this was certainly an experience. I learned a lot through this piece, and it took a long time but that’s one commission down! I’m happy I finally had the chance to draw Xiao.

FINISHED X2: haha, hi, it’s me, it’s my face again. Sorry to barge into your emails unannounced, but I do have a new crop for you all. After some critiques from one of my close friends, I figured out that the background was fighting for attention with the characters. So per her suggestion, I decided to crop the composition in closer.

Final update: Ok. This time. This time for sure. It’s finished! I improved the colours as per critiques from friends, and I, really happy with the end result!
