Seaside Churches With Brooklynn

Ah, right – Marlboro's and buses. Well, a quick outfit change and a short quarter mile down the road later, we came across this very attractive church. Now, it looks like a church – due to the regular identifiers such as a cross (duh), well kept grounds and yes; not a person in sight. We were in the middle of nowhere though, with a whole bunch of rundown trailers, buses and paved roads that were quickly disintegrating into being a primitive gravel path. This had to be a fake church, a movie set, an artist rendition. Well – it was real. We found out.
Brooklynn slipped on these stellar bottoms with just enough fabric, a nice little white tee to accompany and – of course – cowgirl boots. There was a semi-detached what seemed like modular (or mods is what we called them when I was in high school) adjoined by a wrap around handicap walk way that was casting a beautiful linear shadow along the main wall of the church building. Half in, half out – shadows and lights. We shot quickly here as there were other on-lookers that we began to attract the longer we shot. At first, it was hard to tell their intent. Just to watch, waiting their turn or simply scolding us for what we were doing – almost in hopes that the great spirt himself would come down and strike us with wrath and maybe a plague of locusts or something. Well, none of that happened. The only thing we got was a lady who looked like she was straight from the small down in The Book of Eli – the movie – complete with glasses, ragged hair and skin just as dirty as the ground. Well, she said that she was a worker and keeper of the church. Whatever her name was, she was not pleased in the slightest of what we were doing on her (unproven possession) grounds and that the big man up top (also, unlikely and unproven) wouldn't take kindly to it.
We packed up, waived goodbye to the church, said our Hail Mary's (not really) and were on our merry and spited way.
