Rewind - January

January 2018: I shot inside of my bathtub, wearing a red body-harness. I clearly had some focus issues, and didn't mind much about the color-editing. Movement and sensuality were key, but I also used to play with facial-expressions a lot.
January 2019: I had the chance to shoot in an attic, in center Milano. The location gained importance in the frame, and I started to learn how to interact with it. Still no big color-editing.
January 2020: Well, that was our first lockdown, so I obviously shot at home. That wall saw several self-portraits of mine through the years, but this is one of my favorites β¨ I experimented with artificial lights and colors. It was pretty fun π¦ Poses became more relaxed.
January 2021: At this point, I was able to manage several types of natural light. The color-editing is heavy, and creates a timeless atmosphere. With such light and location, I din't feel the need to put much effort into make-up and outfit.
January 2022: Here I have chosen my already official black and white, perfect for pics taken outside at noon. Poses gain the most plasticity when I pose in a natural environment. π± This set should have been a nude one, but I didn't feel like going to jail π
So, what do you guys see here? I'm so curious to read your impressions on these comparisons πΈ I think I'll make a poll after this post, so you can vote your favorite January picture β€οΈ I would personally choose 2022, but isn't it obvious? π€

Gennaio 2018: vasca e harness rosso
Gennaio 2019: attico a Milano
Gennaio 2020: nudo su parete bianca
Gennaio 2021: parete rocciosa
Gennaio 2022: fiume
Quello che noto da questa prima comparazione Γ¨ che cinque anni fa, fresca di una carriera come modella, abituata a posare per fotografia di nudo ed erotica, tendevo a focalizzare i miei autoritratti sull'espressione della mia sensualitΓ , senza curare molto il resto. Ero ovviamente inesperta nel fotografare, ma il mio corpo era piΓΉ allenato e performante, quindi mi cimentavo in pose movimentate ed atletiche. la selezione delle foto teneva molto conto di quanto io apparissi "bella". Con il tempo ho imparato a maneggiare i colori, a valorizzare gli ambienti, a comprendere la luce del Sole nelle sue sfaccettature. Ora mi concedo pose piΓΉ rilassate, esprimo il mio erotismo in modo meno esplicito, e talvolta esprimo anche altre cose.
Ora ditemi voi che ne pensate. Che cosa vedete? Nel prossimo post potrete votare la vostra immagine preferita β€οΈ Io scelgo quella del 2022, ma era fin troppo ovvio π€
